PETALING JAYA: Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman recently held a meeting to chart out the future course and strengthen ties between the two educational institutions, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA president said as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Education Foundation , he along with Board of Governors of TARUMT chairman Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy and TARUMT president Prof Lee Sze Wei met with key representatives from UTAR. The UTAR delegation included UTAR Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees chairman Tan Sri Sak Cheng Lam, UTAR Governing Board chairman Tan Sri Dr Ting Chew Peh and UTAR president Datuk Prof Ewe Hong Tat.
“Our meeting was to discuss the direction of the two universities which were founded by MCA in 1969 and 2002, respectively and to establish closer relations and cooperation between TARUMT and UTAR," said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Wednesday .What are the M'sia-China MOUs?
