A temporary ban on wildlife markets in China to curb the spread of coronavirus is “not enough” and should be made permanent, a prominent Chinese environmental leader has told the Guardian.
I agree ... the virus problem is going to repeat itself if these markets continue to sell exotic animals. It should be banned and outlawed all together. Its time China move into the 21st Century and depart from their archaic practices.
It will be difficult to enforce in such an inhuman society where animals a only a commodity and not sentient species. They bring about their own troubles through ignorance.
With an infection rate of 2%....assuming everyone in the world of 6 Billion people was infected.....we would be looking at 120 million deaths world-wide... but that will never happen! I doubt it will get anywhere near the 50 million deaths brought by the WWI flu pandemic !

Pretty impossible. The traders pay off regulators who are on public service salaries tend to be low so it will last a few months..
And put some teeth behind enforcement!!! For sure there would be lots of people ignoring the law.
