Pound to euro exchange rate ‘trades flat’ after slump - should you buy travel money?

Sebastien Clements, currency analyst at OFX, added: “The US dollar found itself tumbling against its peers on Tuesday afternoon as the Fed decided a 50bps emergency interest rate cut is necessary to combat the global coronavirus crisis - the first ‘emergency cut’ since the 2008 crisis and the Lehman Brothers collapse.
