PETALING JAYA: PAS MP Khairuddin Aman Razali says the Islamist party has yet to raise its proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts Act 1965 to the new Perikatan Nasional coalition as it is still too early to do so.
“For now, we need to manage the differing views of political parties and the differing views of ministers .PAS had previously urged the former Pakatan Harapan government to debate and amend the act. But Khairuddin said Perikatan Nasional also needs to consider the needs of the poor and to build up the country’s economy.
