'Envy of the nation': Territorians mingle at markets while many Aussies stay cloistered

The NT will be the "envy of the nation" this dry season, Health Minister Natasha Fyles says, as businesses start to reopen ahead of other states and Territorians adjust to the "new normal" post-coronavirus.28 of the 30 people diagnosed with COVID-19 in the NT have now recoveredFrom May 15, Territorians will be able to dine in at cafes, borrow books from public libraries and attend gym classes.

Ms Fyles said more than 600 Territory businesses had filled out COVID-19 compliance forms, which would allow them to reopen on June 5."So often the Territory is seen as backwards and behind the times — we have led during coronavirus, we have cared for Territorians, we have sent our support interstate to care for people, we have sent it overseas.
