HSBC's mobile banking app is down, leaving thousands of customers struggling to access their accounts.HSBC appears to be having issues with its bank this morningSome customers say they've been getting an "error" message when trying to log into the app.

The HSBC website appears to be working, but customers need a code from the app to log into their account.App users have been tweeting HSBC this morning to complain to the bank.The issues appear to be largely centred in London, although HSBC has yet to confirm any problemsAnother tweeted: "Can’t access your app. Is it down?"

A third said: "App seems to be down, it is stuck on unstable internet connection and I cannot generate a security code for online banking log-on." One customer tweeted an error screen which showed the following message: "We can't establish a stable connection to HSBC.HSBC has yet to confirm any issues, and it hasn't updated its service status page.It's unclear exactly how many customers are affected.How to check if HSBC is down?You need to enter your postcode so it can give you an update for your area.If you want to make a complaint then you an do via phone, web chat or letter.
