HAMBURG/BERLIN - Germany’s Continental, the world’s third-biggest auto parts supplier, played a big part in the Nazi’s armaments and war economy, using forced labourers to make products such as gas masks, a study presented by the company showed on Thursday.
“The study shows that Continental was an important part of Hitler’s war machine,” Conti Chief Executive Elmar Degenhart said. In the last years of the war, concentration camp inmates made gas masks and shifted production to underground sites with inhumane living and working conditions, it said.
This research was initiated by Continental itself. Would love to see swiss and US firms follow
How’s about Ford, the Rockefeller’s, and IBM?
''Business has a responsibility to help preserve democracy,' Degenhart told journalists' Do our businesses feel this way about their responsibility to defend and preserve democracy?
Nobody gives a fuck, lol.
Uh-huh, and I suppose the very expensive state of the art printing presses of Der Stumer and Der Angriff where just destroyed? Didn't think so! Many companies had dealings with the NAZI's 80 years ago, let it go. The war is over.
how about Bayer or VW?
So did Fanta, Ford, Hugo Boss, IBM, a whooooole bunch of companies. Gonna cancel those too?
When does the cancel culture ever stop
