U.S. employment projected to increase 6 million from 2019 to 2029: Labor Department

WASHINGTON - U.S. employment is projected to increase by 6 million jobs this decade, with the annual growth rate sharply slower than during the economy’s recovery from the Great Recession, according to a government report on Tuesday.

The healthcare and social assistance industry is projected to add the most new jobs, and six of the 10 fastest-growing occupations are related to healthcare, the BLS said.

Well, isn't that special... That will reduce the current 35-MILLION unemployed down to 29-MILLION...plus the additional layoffs to come as sure as night follows day. And like another commenter mentioned... How much is the labor force expected to increase during that period. ;~)
