Budget 2021 is an opportune time for the government to consider and adopt more sustainable ways to grow the economy and build the country’s resilience, said Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

It’s not going to be a short term effort nor a monolithic MOF-driven effort. In this case, structural changes (ie policy and legislative), political financing and political economy ecosystem will be crucial. AND these transformation needs to survive govt change for decades.
