STUTTGART: It was supposed to be retired soon. But because the successor to the Porsche Macan will be a pure electric, and that won't be ready until 2023, its lifespan is being expanded with one final facelift.
However Porsche won't be killing off the combustion engine just yet, and the facelifted Macan will still be sold in parallel to its upcoming electric counterpart in some markets for some time, according to the manufacturer. The Macan GTS increases by 60hp to 440hp, while the turbo version is not available. The more tightly tuned GTS is therefore this range's powerful flagship and also has a new sports air suspension.
