PUTRAJAYA, July 27 — The hydrogen economy could help to reduce the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions in the country, said Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
Hydrogen economy is an economy that relies on hydrogen as the commercial fuel that would deliver a substantial fraction of a nation’s energy and services, where the fuel replaces conventional fuels such as diesel and petrol which cause environmental pollution. He added that the development of a hydrogen economy can drive future growth as well as achieve sustainable development goals.
Citing a study from the Economic Research Institute for Asean and East Asia titled “Study on Demand and Supply Potential of Hydrogen Energy in East Asia” in 2018, Tuan Ibrahim said the use of hydrogen as an energy source in the three sectors can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 20.6 million tonnes by 2040.
Y, hidrogen? We hv a lot of gases....

Aku sangat kagum. Nak jemput Menteri titm_official bagi kuliah Dhuha kat surau aku tentang 'Hydrogen Economy'. Mesti walaun excited nak dengar. Dalil jangan lupa.
H2O karat di Kelantan macam mana?
Renewable energy: water, wind and solar. Never heard of hydrogen economy. Nothing will be good as long as the politicians going to touch.
If we had power plants that could run on hot air by politicians, that would reduce greenhouse gases to a far greater extent. Or maybe just burn the politicians straight off as fuel. Less sustainable but far more satisfying 😜
