Waterford-based Klearcom is set to expand to the US and create more local jobs, after securing an €800,000 investment round led by DBIC Venture.

The company which is operating in the global interactive voice response market plans to hire an additional 30 people by the end of 2023 - growing its team to over 50 staff members.

The company's customer base already includes a number of major global pharmaceutical and technology companies, while its international customer pipeline spans a range of sectors. The fund is backed by leading Irish technology entrepreneurs and business leaders, as well as Enterprise Ireland. "Yet they have a blind spot when it comes to IVR performance and as a result, they are losing valuable customers," he added."The IVR testing market is saturated by companies using legacy infrastructure," Mr Dunne said.
