The Federal Government and the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday exchanged words over a report by the National Bureau of Statistics in which it was stated that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product grew by 3.4 per cent in 2021-the highest in seven years.

The GDP report, released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Thursday, also showed that the economy weakened further in the fourth quarter of 2021, after recording a decline in the third quarter of last year.

As a result of the impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic, the country’s annual with GDP again contracted to -1.92 per cent 2020. The report added that quarter on quarter, real GDP grew at 9.63 per cent in Q4 2021 compared to Q3 2021, reflecting a higher economic activity than the preceding quarter. They also emphasised the impacts of the increased economic activities and higher oil prices during the reference year.

Rubbish media

Politics has never been a dirty game, rather we allowed dirty politicians to corrupt the politics. The only way to make politics clean & safe for all, is to join & support A Great Nigeria Movement. We can change the game only if we are ready to support & follow AGreatNigeria3

How do they come up with these figures? Hmmm

Economic growth annd his minister of humanitarian affairs claim some nigeriañs have never sighted N5000 in their lives

Hope all the borrowed money was not inclusive. And there is a new application to borrow more. Where is the growth? there's paperwork not seen.

The PDP will say they handed over a good, fastest growing economy in 2015. An economy that had over 800 companies shut down in the space of 3 years in 2013? With this their finance minister warning? Terrible roads, terrible ports, no rail, no power, no refinery? Fastest on paper

Grow ke chai oga gan o

He now know, where these figures are coming from, but didn't know where Channels TV's Seun got his figures from earlier? Figures that were same source, but MBuhari said he don't know the source, on a live TV interview?
