and warned that consumers had pulled back on discretionary spending due to inflation.

In a statement to CNBC, the retail giant described the layoffs as a way to “better position the company for a strong future.” Anne Hatfield, a Walmart spokesperson, declined to say how many workers will be affected and what divisions have experienced cuts. She said Walmart is still hiring in parts of its business that are growing, including supply chain, e-commerce, health and wellness and advertising sales.“Shoppers are changing. Customers are changing,” she said. “We are doing some restructuring to make sure we’re aligned.”Walmart is the largest employer in the country, with nearly 1.6 million workers in the U.S.

Walmart SUCKS

YIKES‼️Biden said Walmart would be hiring immigrants under his PLAN to create AMERICAN jobs.

Sure hope it's not cashiers. Not enough already.

Only going to get worse. You just watch.

FireyTopaz Hold it, Walmart is a soulless, ruthless employer?

They could just open more than 3 registers and people may go back to Walmart but Amazon is faster 😂😂

Only the beginning. The new spending bill will tax corporations at a higher rate resulting in two things: more layoffs, higher prices for items they make.

Corporate employees? As opposed to what?

Some Walmart products depends oN China ,,,,cheap and affordable,,,,

. Walmart & McDonald's have the most workers on food stamps and Medicaid

And so it begins…

Just a sample of what will come thanks to the failed Biden policies.

They stole so much money through a fake pandemic I'm still hoping they go belly up..

Americans maxed out on their available credit right now. Auto repos at an all time high. This will not end well.

That can’t be. Everything is fine.
