Getting clever with your subscriptions could save you hundreds of euro

We watched more TV than ever before during the pandemic, filling the long lockdown days by binge-watching series and mid-week movie nights.

In fact, research from digital bank N26 shows that over a third of consumers have more subscriptions than they did before the pandemic, with a third of people aged 18-34 having more than four.The research also found that the most important benefit for subscribers was the option to cancel at any time ahead of paying a fixed price , while 20% said they would sign up for a food or clothing subscription, 17% to a health and medication subscription, and 15% to an education subscription.

Spotify for example offers a Premium Duo plan for €13.99 a month for two people in the same household for a saving of €71.88 compared to two individual plans. For larger households, there is the Premium Family plan for €17.
