Sad news to report

Staff at a Nottinghamshire-based contractor say they're looking for new jobs. It comes as reports suggest Edwinstowe-headquartered Woodhead Construction has unexpectedly 'ceased trading'.

One man, who in his LinkedIn profile is described as a construction site manager, wrote: "I am now seeking a new construction management role and would appreciate your support. I bring to the table nearly seven years of commercial, housing and infrastructure construction experience."If you are looking for a hardworking, passionate and thorough construction manager please get in touch, and thank you in advance for any advice or opportunities you can offer.

The firm was also involved in the creation of the new Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre which opened in 2018. Latest accounts for Robert Woodhead Holdings Ltd for the year to October 31, 2021 show a pre-tax profit of £535,000 from a turnover of £44.3m.
