The Lagos State Government has announced readiness to shut down Ladipo and Oyingbo markets till further notice.
A statement on Thursday by Ibrahim Odumboni, the MD/CEO, said the markets would be shut from September 22. The official said despite abatement notices, they have continued “the mindless environmental violation”.“This is also meant to serve as a deterrent to other nonchalant markets”, Odumboni added.
