Things are looking pretty grim for the economy - but according to experts it's not as bad as first expected.

1. UK set for two-year recession

When a country is in recession, it's a sign that its economy is doing badly. A recession is when a country's economy shrinks for two three-month periods in a row. Previously, the Bank had expected the UK to fall into recession at the end of this year and said it would last for all of next year.

All becos the so called civil service think tanks allowed the country to become too dependant on natural gas as an energy supply. We have plenty of coal, but they closed the mines. No investment for 40 years in nuclear power. No fracking. NS oil plenty enough for power stations?

It could be easily fixed by making corporations pay their actual tax bills and raising the rate of income tax for those earning above £100 million 💁‍♂️
