Independent oil exploration company, Aiteo Eastern E&P Co. Ltd has said investment in human capacity development in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria is yielding return locally and internationally.

President, Nigeria Society of Engineers , Tasiu Sa’ad Gidari-Wudil ; newly awarded fellow of NSE and Chief Operating Officer, Aiteo Eastern E&P Co. Ltd, Ewariezi Useh and Chairman Board of Fellows at NSE, Ebele Okeke at the 21st Fellowship Conferment in Abuja.

Useh, who was conferred as fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers disclosed that his award remained a testament to the strength of the country in human capacity. He said while the country had imported skills to develop the oil sector, the professionals of Nigerian origin are now taking over the industry across the world.

He said the NSE has set standards for the engineering practice in the oil sector, a development that has further aided capacity development in the sector.
