How HP technologies help make hybrid work possible HPUK ad

The new hybrid workplace offers flexibility, but also some technological challenges. It used to be straightforward. You either worked in an office or you worked from home. There wasn't much of a middle ground where you moved from one style of working to another — especially from day to day.

"The hybrid option that many businesses now embrace requires more flexibility than ever before," Dave Prezzano, managing director at HP UK and Ireland, said."We now need to be productive wherever we happen to be — and we still need to be able to effectively collaborate with our in-office colleagues."According to a recent HP study, the average freelancer now finds themselves working from 3.

While many employees believe they can be more productive during the days that they work remotely, they also feel they often lack the tools they need to function at their best. In the HP survey, almost a quarter of workers said that a real keyboard would help them to work better when away from the office. To address the emerging needs of hybrid workers, a fresh approach to remote working is needed.

"Users at home with HP Presence technology can be confident that they show up well and are heard," Prezzano said."This technology greatly enhances collaboration equity, and really gives the remote-working participants a seat at the table." Integrated lighting enhancements, meanwhile, put an end to dark and gloomy images of at-home participants. HP Presence intelligently adjusts to the lighting conditions of the room, ensuring attendee faces can be seen clearly., a powerful portable PC that comes with a 5 megapixel camera to ensure hybrid workers' colleagues see them clearly.
