Shame needs to make a comeback. It started to fade into the background in the 90s and seems lately to have been on vacation.

Pleading embarrassment seems like a juvenile lament for a finance wizard who ignored normal sequestration standards. But religion doesn't guarantee morality. Most of us instinctively want to do good, if we listen, our hearts steer us toward kindness & compassion. We're human.

'Sam Bankman-Fried’s mere ‘embarrassment’ at the collapse of FTX is a symptom of our inability to find shared moral values' If you are referencing we/our to corrupted & bought media, regulators, and politicians we are in agreement They exhibit complete lack of moral values.

This isn't a new problem.

Currupts united!! Perhaps they did some due diligence but they haven't been on top of how the story is unfolding - maybe only watched the NY Times interview and that shouldn't have even been enough to issue such a statement Isn’t it amazing, that for some reason, a CEO has stolen crazy amounts of money and yet due process and investigation is not being followed but on the contrary, is being payed to speak a media events and walk freely in the Bahamas like as if nothing happened? I mean, odd right?
