Nobel economist Paul Krugman slams Brazil and Argentina's joint currency plan, saying 'it's a terrible idea'

The euro-like shared-currency project proposed by Brazil and Argentina is a"terrible idea", according to Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman.

"I don't know who came up with this idea, but it surely wasn't anyone who knows anything about international monetary economics," Krugman said in a Twitter

according to an expert at this the two countries are creating a time bomb that will destroy the both of them unless they start being major trade partners amongst themselves, then the idea will work.

You know how you know something is a great idea? Krugman says it's a bad idea.
