The enterprise minister says Ireland has a strong tech sector and strong economy

Simon Coveney has said that the recent wave of job cuts in the technology sector has not affected Ireland as much as other countries.

Speaking ahead of a trade mission to the west coast of the United States, the enterprise Ireland said that said that Ireland would not be immune to the changes in the sector but that the over all picture remained strong.
