Maybe because the Fed's always overdo everything. Typically they raise interest rates until they induce a recession, then quickly drop them, rinse and repeat over and over.

Amen. The market’s recent insanity definitely seemed way out of proportion to any Fed-related cause. Almost as if everyone was paying attention to Cramer and losing it. Markets can sometimes succumb to mass hysteria.

It was the 233% increase in rates in 21 months with promises of more that was problematic! 🙄
