Business Economy down the toilet, I am looking for a job in the only industry that is growing Gov.

Business Every time in history that Canada has raised the central rate to combat inflation has been followed by recession.

Business is that a surprise?

Business Better copy that story. You’ll be pasting it for the next 30 years according to OECD. You know, if you are still around to paste anything.

Business Defund the CBC

If there's zero growth and a 10% inflation, doesn't that imply a decline? Even if sales go up by 10% due to inflation, it doesn't count as growth if there's no increase beyond that.

Homeostasis seems healthy. Is perpetual growth even desirable? Or is stability without growth desirable. If Earth's natural systems are a pie, do corporations and countries constantly need a bigger piece? Are there planetary boundaries that greed exceeds?

Next-level gaslighting. Economic contraction is actually good (“Signs of economic slowdown may come as welcome news”). Out of touch cbcnews

Instant reaction: What the Street is saying after Canada’s surprisingly weak GDP reportThe Canadian economy recorded no growth in the final three months of 2022, massively underperforming expectations Canada is in trouble on many fronts. Healthcare is collapsing, many people cannot afford housing, the population is polarized & toxic, the country can’t defend itself and is behind in its NATO obligations. I won’t even mention the national debt. It is only surprising to anyone who has not been paying attention.
