Canadian economy stayed flat in the fourth quarterStatistics Canada says real gross domestic product was unchanged in the last three months of 2022, despite higher household and government spending as well as a stronger trade position for Canada.
Real GDP was weighed down by a slower accumulation of inventories by businesses along with a decline in real business investment. The report shows a much grimmer economy than forecasters had anticipated as higher interest rates take a more noticeable toll on the economy.However, a preliminary estimate from Statistics Canada suggests the economy bounced back in January with 0.3 per cent growth in real GDP.
So after the number was adjusted for inflation, what happened?
Well ya, the fed is trying to bring in a recession to discipline workers and reverse any power they gained over the pandemic.
So when do the fat leftist wake up to realize you can not spend other peoples money we don’t have to get out of this horrible mess?

Not sure how inflation is expected to drop almost 3% by “mid-2023” with these mind-numbing energy costs. Truth is it won’t and our new (inflation) normal is exactly where it is now.
