The DUP has been urged by other Stormont parties to get back to government at Stormont following the announcement of a new Brexit deal.

Her party leader, Mary Lou McDonald, added there was "no justification for the DUP to continue this reckless and damaging boycott of democracy".

Alliance Party leader Naomi Long said the deal should have been signed four years ago if, she described, the UK had a "serious" prime minister at the time. The DUP and Social Democratic and Labour Party leaders are currently in London and did not meet with Mr Sunak. Sir Jeffrey has been speaking in much more nuanced terms on Tuesday, saying only EU law which allowed businesses to trade in the EU single market should apply. After months of negotiation and speculation surrounding a possible deal, it was finally unveiled on Monday during a day of carefully-choreographed events.

This mother is right about not been able to get a lot of thing's in Northern Ireland and I can give another example like when I went to get a simple thing like a mattress from Argos only to be told no more because of check's , so I can't stand the DUP fumbling what to do as usual

We have huge problems getting essential regular medications on the mainland and that is because of brexit. Maybe N Ireland has jumped from the frypan into the same brexit fire as us?

Stay out

Don't be bloody daft! Why should the DUP return to Stormont now? The Windsor deal has been signed, it will be introduced and NI will benefit. Whilst DUP have forced this, it does not depend on DUP going back. Pocket it and go for more!

Witnessing unionists taking orders from a republican first minister in stormont will be very satisfying and yet a great stepping stone for our ultimate goal.united Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪

I would be worried about their parties signing a contract ever. 🤣🤣 Give them time too read over it flipsake.

So you can push Smart Cities on the people

Have they not heard of the proverb of 'Delaney's Donkey'?

If the other parties are urging them back, the DUP need to study carefully before entering into Stormont, knowing how the other parties agreed the deal even before they had a chance to read it.

What follows - a snails-pace consideration of the legal text, followed by endless requests for 'clarifications'. Then meltdown at the DUP executive meeting when Jethro moves the vote. Then all the toys are going to come out of the DUP pram.

No pressure why would we rush to share power with the IRA?

DUP isn't going to support this. They would rather go back to a time when their members could toss Molotovs at Catholic churches.
