The ABC going on strike while the RBA announces the next rate decision is an “insult to Australians”, according to The Daily Telegraph’s Editor, Ben English.

“It’s laughable and highly ironic that you have at a time when households … depend on the ABC for their information at such a crucial time,” Mr English told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“Here’s a group of employees that are pretty much outside the normal economy; I mean, their jobs are never at risk, they act as a collective organisation, and they are basically outside the real world.”
