Starbucks has announced plans to open 100 new stores in the UK over the next 12 months as part of a Europe-wide investment programme.
It revealed the investment while reporting that sales had recovered to pre-pandemic levels during its financial year to 22 October.said total revenues were 37% up on the same period a year ago at £449.3m - though operating profits slipped by almost a third to £12.6m. Duncan Moir, president of Starbucks Europe, Middle East and Africa , said:"Innovation remains key to Starbucks ability to meet our customers' changing needs and we're investing in our digital channels and developing new store formats such as digitally forward smaller stores and Drive Thrus.
What precisely are they investing in? Minimum franchise investment is £500k 🤣
I bought a £400 coffee machine, coffee beans and real milk. The difference between my coffee and their insipid gunk is phenomenal. Best thing I ever did...!!!
All those people saying how bad it is why do you even bother going there? If you don't go there then how do you know?
Maybe a good start would simply be to keep them clean during the day
SeenThruGlass I'm sure you are buzzing about this! lol
Thank the lord
Basically drinking piss it’s not coffee StarbucksUK
Hope they don't at bugs
Funny how people moan paying for gas but have spare money for coffee shops
Cancer. Eat real food
Buy a kettle ffs
Clearly we can see where people are spending their money.
Where’s the Justice? M&S, BnM, TkMaxx and H&M closing stores, Starbucks expanding. I despair at this generation.
Starbucks make appalling coffee! They didn’t last long in Australia- thank goodness!
Greggs does better coffee for half the price.
Will they be made to pay their taxes in return for us allowing them to expand their business?
All with no tax paid money !!
More places for people to sit there with their laptops hogging the plug sockets making one coffee last for 90 minutes. 🙄
More Starbucks coffee shops. Just what we need🙄
Their planning manager doesn't know yet, but he's soon to get the sack.
I don't get why people go to Starbucks the coffee is overpriced and tastes like mud.
