Mortons Rolls staff at risk of redundancy offered help at free employment event

The beloved Glasgow firm ceased trading after entering administration last week, putting 250 jobs at risk and threatening to close the Drumchapel factory for good.

Skills Development Scotland will lead on the delivery of PACE support in conjunction with a number of key partners including the Department for Work and Pensions and local authorities amongst others. “The Scottish Government’s initiative for responding to redundancy situations, Partnership Action for Continuing Employment , has arranged these two events to provide support for the affected employees.
