Despite the regulators’ actions on Sunday, bank stocks were hit hard on Monday in the wake of the collapse of SVB Financial Group and, subsequently, the closure of Signature Bank. Investors still seem to be zooming in on a few specific bank characteristics for concern.

I wathced TV today and they said everything was fine, and there was an advertisement for Charles Schwab and I went ahead and called them and opened a brokerage account and bought Tesla stock, since the program they sponsored said everything was perfect--who can argue with that?

If there was a shred of integrity in the financial industrial complex, more discussions would be had about fixed annuities as a safe place to invest vulnerable deposits.
