Didn't we get these exact same warnings from Osborne when he was Chancellor, & we triggered Article 50. They were rubbish then, & they are rubbish now. Later today I expect we will get the 'Emergency Budget' warning , which again never happened, & was rubbish.

With a 2nd Ref now firmly off the table, the Chancellor has been sent out to try to herd the cats towards the PM's deal. The hope, which the EU is working on, is that they can synchronise this with the backstop being legally neutered and hey presto her agreement should pass.

We voted to leave. We knew it wouldn’t be smooth. Everyone expected the EU and remainers to fight our decision and the EU to agree nothing except hands over the keys to the Bank of England . Now the project fear ramps up a notch.
