Other languages should also be phased out in favour of English. Like it or not a little island's language has become worldwide. A common language where we all understand each other is obviosly the way to go.

Afrikaans must be phased out even at university level, for the minority study at the comforts of their mother tongue hence majority of us don't have that privilege, so university should centralise the language issue to benefit all of us.
It may not be medium of instructions but it must not be removed, I used to attend both classes, if I mis the English class I’ll attend Afrikaans class, the problem is Afrikaans it is the ppl who speak Afrikaans, and not al, what about black ppl that speak it as die eerste taal

I didn't do Afrikaans even in Matric not bcoz I hated it, but bcoz I didn't want grey hair to overtake me while still in the classroom. I do know ppl 4rm Zambia who study Sepedi / Tswana at school. Language Not a problem...Love Is.
