Pharmacy Guild of Australia national president Trent Twomey argues the government’s reinvestment into regional pharmacies is “not enough to save jobs” once the 60-day prescription initiative comes through.

“I live in regional, rural and remote Australia; it’s where I live, it’s where my kids live, it’s where my pharmacies are,” he told

Sky News Australia.“That’s not enough to save jobs, that’s not enough to save trading hours on Sundays and on weekends and at night.”
