Thrift-store operator Savers Value Village Inc.’s stock SVV soared 37% in its trading debut Thursday, after the deal priced above its proposed range. The company sold 18.8 million shares to raise $338.4 million at a valuation of $2.9 billion. The stock is trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SVV. Earlier this month, the Bellevue, Wash., company had said it expected the IPO to price at between $15 and $17 a share.
