However, the research house did not expect any significant pick-up in the growth of the PPOP and revenue in the medium term, given its large revenue and PPOP base as well as keen competition in the region. “While we expect the topline growth of GGB to be in the single-digit rates per annum over the next few years, any stronger expansion in PPOP would come from improvements in operating efficiency, partly through the sharing of resources among its operations in various countries, in our view,” said the research house.
