European stocks increased Tuesday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index SXXP, +0.97% closed up 0.97% to 459.83.

Shares of investing/securities firm Quilter PLC QLT, +7.71% and retail company THG PLC THG, +7.22% gained 7.7% and 7.2%, respectively. Shares of retail firm Carrefour S.A. CA, -4.55% and technology company Samhaellsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB Series B SBB.B, -3.31% weakened 4.6% and 3.3%, respectively.
