Study explores the wide-ranging impact of world's longest national trail, which stretches over 28,000 kilometres

Part of the trail included in the study is in Newfoundland between Corner Brook to Stephenville. According to the report, this section alone has a $21.8 million annual economic impact and is estimated to save $2.3 million in health-care costs. "The trails have brought a new energy to our region. We've seen an influx of visitors who come here to explore the great outdoors," said Forsey-Gail.
