A 7NEWS crew reporting live from Israel, near the Gaza border, has been forced to flee into a bomb shelter during a live cross. 7NEWS Chief Reporter Chris Reason and his crew were crossing live to The Latest from Sderot on Sunday night when a warning siren was heard.

The moment a 7NEWS crew was forced to flee for cover while reporting from Israel. Only two-and-a-half minutes into his report, Reason stopped and began walking then running towards the bomb shelter. The remainder of the crew were seen running into the shelter as bombing was heard. “Ange, I don’t know if you can still hear us,” Reason said, addressing The Latest host Angela Cox. “We’re obviously inside the shelter across the road where we deliberately set up in case that sort of thing happened.
