Kaylee McKeown is the undisputed queen of backstroke after setting yet another world record in the discipline. The Aussie 22-year-old’s 50m backstroke effort at the World Cup in Budapest eclipsed the previous world record by 0.12s.

She became just the second woman ever to swim sub-27, dethroning China’s Liu Xiang after a five year hold on the record with a blistering 26.86. McKeown had threatened the record with her swim in Berlin recently, but went to a new level in Budapest on Saturday morning , despite a slightly scratchy finish to the race.
