An international tourist has been charged over a double-fatal crash in South Australia’s Mid North that killed a mother and daughter and left two others fighting for life in hospital. The collision between the van and Honda unfolded at the intersection of Templeton Rd and Blyth Rd at Everard Central, about 120km northwest of Adelaide at 5.20pm on Tuesday.

John Clarke, a rear passenger in the Honda, lost his wife Cynthia, 84, who was sitting in the front of the car being driven by their daughter Jackie, 54. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, both women died at the crash site. John was flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.
