- Coinbase, the largest crypto exchange in the U.S., has announced that retail traders in the U.S. will now be able to trade regulated crypto futures contracts for the first time via the exchange’s Coinbase Advanced platform.

“Traders have access to two futures contracts: Bitcoin and Ether ,” the blog said. “At 1/100th of a Bitcoin and 1/10th of Ethereum, these contracts offer lower upfront capital requirements and can be an affordable investment option for a broader range of retail customers.” Coinbase Advanced is a trading platform “for sophisticated retail traders” that offers more refined tools like advanced order types, TradingView charts, and APIs to automate trading.
