US stocks and bonds extended gains as traders bet the Federal Reserve is coming to the end of its historic tightening campaign

Dublin’s Iseq index advanced in Thursday’s trading, with shares rising after a jump for Ires Reit, the country’s largest private landlord, and a strong day for PTSB.

The Iseq, an index of all shares traded on Euronext Dublin, was up 1.1 per cent, reaching 8,059 at close of trading. Shares in Ires were up 4.5 per cent, ending the day at 95 cent a share, after a well-received trading update on Tuesday morning. Margaret Sweeney, ...
