The President, Lagos Country Club, Mr Tajudeen Akande, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to engage capable hands in running the economy, in order to give direction to government’s economic polici

es.

Akande said this on Tuesday at a press briefing held in Lagos to announce activities marking the 70th anniversary of the club. The briefing also witnessed the unveiling of the 70th anniversary logo. “There must be a clear-cut policy that is well marshalled and communicated. The government must continually engage with the business community to drive home their economic policies.”

The Director-General, Lagos Country Club 70th anniversary, Chief Babatunde Okunuga, said Nigeria had a lot to learn from the club, especially the way the club conducts its elections.
