Works Ministry gets RM200 million for road maintenance

The Works Ministry says the additional funds will be used on federal roads in Sarawak, Sabah, and Labuan, with RM150 million going to pavement maintenance, RM40 million for routine maintenance, and RM10 million to maintain slopes along the roads. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 20, 2019.A statement from the ministry said this was in addition to the RM610 million the Finance Ministry had promised it, and would be channelled in stages.
