KUALA LUMPUR: The security industry has been a contributor to the national economy and should now look into creating new security products that could be marketed here and overseas, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The security industry has the ability to bring in sophisticated security technologies, but at the same time, possess the potential to create their own products, said Dr Mahathir.
