Thailand stocks declined for the third consecutive session Monday, with the composite Thailand SET Index SET, -0.34% dropping 0.4% to 1,384.31.

Eastern Polymer Group EPG, -0.75%, a basic materials/resources company, was the biggest leader during the session, increasing 6.8%, and transportation/logistics firm Regional Container Lines RCL, +3.19% increased 3.6%. Xiaomi Corp. TDR XIAOMI80, -3.38%, which operates in the technology space, rounded out the top three leaders on Monday, with shares gaining 3.5%.

Elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index HSI, +1.30% added 1.3%, while the NIKKEI 225 Index NIK, +0.05% of Japanese companies gained 0.1%. The Shanghai Composite Index SHCOMP, +0.25% of Chinese companies increased 0.2%.
