The Chicago-based planemaker is the US largest exporter, and the effect on economic data could soon be felt.

Boeing 737Next generation fuselages manufactured by Spirt AeroSystems in Wichita, Kansas on a BSNF train heading to the Boeing assembly plant in Renton, Washington. The train is making its way over the Bozeman pass near Livingston, Montana.is facing its worst crisis in years after two of its 737 Max planes have crashed in the last five months.

JPMorgan's top economist warned Friday that any slowdown in the planemaker's business could have repercussions for the entire US economy. "The issues affecting Boeing's 737 MAX could begin impacting the economic data flow," Michael Feroli, the bank's chief US economist said in a note to clients Friday.
