On Sunrise on Friday, the Crocodile Dundee star was interviewed by his granddaughter Mylee Hogan, who asked him about both the Aussie actor and Barbie director, Greta Gerwig, missing out on a nod.

Barbie holds the record as the only film directed by a woman to earn more than $1 billion at the box office. “To see them not nominated, that’s a sort of like ... a dull tradition of ‘if it’s not about pain and suffering, it can’t be very good’. It’s not fair,” Hogan said.
