Apple also unpeels its offerings before Europe makes its pips squeak

Google also confirmed details about how it has altered its financial terms with developers in the European Economic Area based on the requirements of the Digital Markets Act. “The service fee is how we support our ongoing investments in Android and Google Play, reflects the value provided by Android and Google Play, and is how we earn money as a business,” Google explained.

Google also explained its External Offers program, through which Google Play-distributed apps can lead users in EEA outside the app to external offers like subscriptions.
